I have a new goal, fix up a van to travel with my art and spend time with my still growing child at home and out in the big, blue yonder. Show that little one that life is made for living. Something, I regrettably couldn’t show to my older, grown children because I had to work their childhood away, leaving them feeling second place when the goal was to help them thrive instead of merely just surviving life.
If you are an artist, you won’t be happy doing anything else. That corporate job will pay the bills, but it won’t fulfill you. It won’t nurture you.
